If you have future travel plans that may be affected by COVID-19/Coronavirus, you may have an option to cancel or to rebook. Options vary by travel supplier. It is highly recommended that you do NOT cancel/rebook until the refund/rebook policy is received for your specific travel dates. Cancelling/rebooking too early may not result in the best deal for you. Unfortunately, once a policy is updated it is not retroactive. Once you cancel, your refund/rebook policy is based on your cancellation date. Because travel suppliers continue to update their COVID-19 cancellation/rebook policies, it is important to wait until your travel dates are addressed.

Currently, some travel suppliers are providing a benefit for their loyal travelers…those that choose to wait to cancel/rebook! A few suppliers are offering an extra 25% travel credit for the travelers that rebook once their specific refund/rebook policy is announced. As an example, if someone purchased a vacation package at $3000, they are now able to rebook a vacation package priced at up to $3750. NOTE: The additional 25% being offered is for the price paid for both the vacation package (hotel, air, transfers) and travel protection (if purchased).

Decisions concerning money can be difficult. Do not rush to make a decision about your future travel plans. Be sure you have all of the necessary information before making your decision on whether to cancel or rebook. If you booked through a travel agent, contact them for assistance.
